To help raise funds for Children in Need staff and pupils at Tweendykes dressed up in either their Onesies or in yellow. The senior pupils had a special assembly were we did ‘The Great Tweendykes Bake off’. Each class had to produce 12 identical Pudsey Buns and these were judged by some of our senior pupils who had been learning describing words and putting them into full sentences.
Some of the comments about the buns were – ‘Truly scrumptious’, ‘Very light and fluffy’, ‘The icing is nice and creamy’
One class had clearly cheated and bought their Pudsey Buns and the judges were not impressed.
One judge even commented – ‘Out of date’
Lots of fun was had by all and we managed to raise a massive £369. Well done everyone!
