Home Learning
Welcome to the Tweendykes home learning page.

At Tweendykes we encourage your child to access home learning materials each term to support and consolidate their learning.

If your child is absent from school, it is expected that your child engages in home learning. However, it is important to note that if your child is themselves too ill then they should not be expected to engage in home learning until they are feeling better.
On this page you will find different levels of activities for each learning pathway. If you are unsure which pathway your child is following, please don't hesitate to contact their class teacher to find out. All areas of the curriculum are planned for and where possible, activities are directly linked to what your child would have been taught in school to reduce the risk of their learning journey being hindered whilst absent from school.

Please note, that these activities are our 'basic package' of home learning materials for the first few days of absence. This measure will afford class teachers a short time to prepare a more personalised package of home learning materials for your child if it is anticipated that they will be absent from school for a longer period of time.

Alongside working through the home learning materials, it is encouraged that your child also spends some time on 'Rocket Phonics'. All children have been issued a username and password. If you have lost your child’s username and password, please contact the school office.

If your child is really struggling with any aspect of home learning, be it completing activities or gaining access to devices, then please contact their class teacher/school via the office.
