As part of the Hull young artist of the year sixth form students were asked to design a sculpture based on a famous person or famous people from Hull.
Michael Simm who is in his second year of sixth form picked the Beautiful South a famous music group from Hull. Michael was so proud of his sculpture and was over the moon when he won 3rd place at Hull Young Artist of the Year! Michael won £20 which he bought some solo lights for his garden at home.
