Friends of Tweendykes
We are a parent/teacher organisation for Tweendykes Special School. Being a registered charity means we are able to apply for funds from The Big Lottery, Children in Need and many other organisations.
This year we have been successful in receiving funding from Children in Need, Neil Hudgell Trust, True Colours Foundation and Red Nose Funding. The money received will go towards funding after school provision, family learning days and family trips during the holidays.
We play a crucial role in maximising the educational experience of our children. Get more involved with the school community and help enrich the lives of our pupils, but most importantly have FUN! With thousands of pounds being raised from activities which in the past have included bag packing at Asda Mount Pleasant, hair shaving event, tombola, raffles and Christmas/summer fairs.
We meet termly to discuss how we can fund raise and what activities we can offer. If you wish to be part of Friends of Tweendykes please contact Lesley Kemp on 01482 826508.
